The weather turned very warm pretty quickly throughout spring and summer is finally here!
At Parker Payless Liquors, we look forward to this season every year because it means we
get to drink some of our favorite wines. Here are my picks below and all under $15.00!

2017 Horgelus Cotes De Gascogne
Winemaker Yoan Le Menn has crafted this perfect blend of 75% Colombard & 25% Sauvignon Blanc.
Citrus and floral notes dominate on the nose with a bright juicy mouthfeel that is perfect as an aperitif.
Try this with summer salads or light fish dishes. Only $7.99

2016 Monstable Chardonnay Pays d’Oc Languedoc
The climate in Languedoc is bright and sunny. Because of this, the Chardonnay grapes ripen perfectly there and this wine will impress those with more new world palates. Meyer lemon, pineapple and a touch of vanilla on the nose, the mouthfeel here has richness without ever losing focus on the juicy citrus and minerality found on the long finish. Try this with curried chicken salad, crab cakes or roast chicken. Only $12.99

2017 Moulin de Gassac Guilhem Pays D’ Herault Rose
Sunshine in a bottle, this wine basically captures the very essence of the Languedoc. The Guibert family are pioneers in this beautiful part of France for almost single-handedly raising the bar of enology and winemaking. A blend of 50% Syrah & 50% Carignan. Lively and vivid on the nose with melon, strawberry and spring flowers. The mouthfeel is fresh, bright and juicy. Try this with Indian food, avocado southwest salad or pan seared scallops with saffron butter. Only $11.99

2017 Chateau Sainte Eulalie Minervois
Always one of our favorite wines, this will impress with its bright fruity nose and delicious mouthfeel. White stone fruit, red cherry, strawberry and spring flowers run rampant on the palate. 35% Syrah, 30% Cinsault, 25% Mourvedre & 10% Grenache Noir. Try this with grilled vegetables with olive oil and lemon zest, chicken tacos or all by itself on a warm summer evening. Only $14.99

2017 Chateau Mourgues Du Gres Galets Rose Costier De Nimes
Francois Collard has rock star status among his peers. His magnificent estate has been certified organic by EcoCert since the 2011 vintage. This is a richer style of rose wine. The vines grow in the the same galet blanketed vineyards like the ones in Chateauneuf-du-Pape, so the wines show a deep structure and minerality to them. This darker hued rose gives off notes of melon, raspberry, stone fruit and floral notes. Delicious with a turkey burger or grilled pork. Only $14.99

2015 La Basia Valtenesi La Botte Piena Valtenesi D.O.C.
From vineyards located on the slopes of Lake Garda in Northern Italy, Giacomo Parona crafts some of the most delicious wines from this great country. Reminiscent of Piemontese wines costing much more, this is very impressive! Bright juicy raspberry, cherry and deep floral notes dominate on the nose. The mouthfeel is fruity and elegant with a laser like finish. Delicious with grilled trout dressed with olive oil, orange zest and white pepper, light pasta dishes or truffle flecked cheese. Only $13.99

Cheers!
